Standout Property Manager Quick Start

This guide covers the essentials for a new Standout user. For detailed guidance, follow the links to the relevant help articles.

Accessing Standout

Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox and open:

https://www.standoutpropertymanager.co.uk/login

Bookmark the login page if you use Standout regularly.

Standout login

Signing in

Enter your agency Client ID and your individual username, then continue to the password screen.

Every member of staff should use their own account. Do not share usernames or passwords.

If you have forgotten your password, use the password-reset option on the login screen.

Password entry

Two-factor authentication

If two-factor authentication is enabled, Standout will ask for the current six-digit code from your authenticator app. Two-factor authentication can be configured from Profile Configuration.

The Dashboard

After signing in, Standout opens the Dashboard. The dashboard provides a personalised overview of your working day, including recent properties and contacts, appointments, tasks, performance information and other business activity.

Standout dashboard

The left-hand navigation provides access to the main areas of the system:

  • Diary – appointments, valuations, viewings and tasks.
  • Properties – property records, marketing and progression.
  • Rental – tenancies, landlords, tenants and rental payments.
  • Contacts – applicants, purchasers, vendors, landlords, tenants and professional contacts.
  • Opportunity Finder – proactive prospecting from live CRM data.
  • Reports – operational and management reporting.
  • Administration – agency and system configuration.

The toolbar at the top of the screen provides notifications, page help, colleague information, profile settings and logout.

Office 365 calendar integration

Where enabled, Standout can synchronise appointments with your Microsoft 365 / Outlook calendar. Always edit Standout-created appointments in Standout so changes can be synchronised correctly.

See Diary Overview for appointment and calendar guidance.

Working with a new seller or landlord

A typical workflow is:

  1. Create or locate the contact.
  2. Create the property at the appropriate pre-valuation stage.
  3. Link the owner/landlord to the property.
  4. Book the valuation appointment.
  5. Record the property details, valuation, photographs and marketing information.
  6. When instructed, move the property to the appropriate available/marketing status.
  7. Use viewings, offers and progression tools to manage the transaction.

See Property Overview, Adding a new Rental Property and Rental Property Overview.

Working with a new buyer or tenant

A typical workflow is:

  1. Create or locate the contact.
  2. Record their position and property requirements.
  3. Book viewings and record feedback.
  4. Record offers where appropriate.
  5. Keep their requirements current so Standout can continue matching suitable properties.

Customers can also maintain their own requirements through My Move. The customer-facing requirements are the same live requirement records that staff see in the Contact record.

My Move customer portal

My Move provides secure customer self-service. From a Contact record, use Send My Move link to invite the customer.

Depending on the customer's relationship with the agency, My Move can provide:

  • property journey and progression information;
  • viewings and feedback;
  • offers;
  • tenancy and compliance information;
  • repairs and landlord quote approvals;
  • buyer onboarding and Buyer Ready information;
  • AML/identity information and secure document uploads;
  • DocuSign status;
  • viewing requests;
  • customer-managed property requirements;
  • direct messages to the branch.

See My Move Customer Portal for the complete workflow.

Opportunity Finder

Use Opportunity Finder to identify contacts worth speaking to today. It prioritises opportunities such as buyers with a property to sell, lapsed valuations, withdrawn vendors and applicants whose activity has gone quiet.

An opportunity can be opened, converted into a follow-up task, marked as contacted, snoozed or dismissed.
