Feeds and Portals

Administration → Feeds/Portals is split into two sub-tabs so outbound property distribution and inbound customer enquiries are not mixed together on one very long page.

Outbound feeds

The Outbound feeds tab controls where Standout sends property data.

It contains:

  • Outbound Data Feeds - website/data feeds configured for the agency;
  • Property portals - the existing property-advertising portals and their settings; and
  • Meta / Facebook property catalogue - the direct Meta Home Listings integration.

Use this tab when the question is: Where should Standout send our property data?

For Meta, see Meta Facebook Property Catalogue.

Inbound enquiries

The Inbound enquiries tab controls how new customer enquiries enter Standout.

It contains:

  • Inbound portal enquiries for Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket and Homeflow;
  • Connected inbound portals;
  • Agency website enquiries;
  • Configured website enquiry sources; and
  • the link to the separate Website API developer guide.

Use this tab when the question is: How should portals or our website send customer enquiries into Standout?

For the full setup, see Inbound Enquiries.

Why the page is split

A portal can be involved in two very different directions:

  • Outbound: Standout sends property listings to an advertising destination.
  • Inbound: the portal sends a customer enquiry back to Standout.

Keeping those directions on separate tabs makes it much clearer which credentials/settings control advertising and which control the Communications Centre.

Day-to-day work is elsewhere

Feeds/Portals is an administration/configuration area. Once inbound connections are working, staff should not return here to process each lead.

Use Communications Centre to read, assign, qualify and progress inbound enquiries and Customer Portal conversations.

Website developer documentation

The detailed Website Enquiry API reference is no longer permanently displayed below the configuration forms.

On the Inbound enquiries tab, click Developer integration guide. The guide opens on its own page and can be downloaded as a PDF or emailed directly to an external developer.

See Website Enquiry API.
