Reports Centre
The Reports area has been redesigned as a Reports Centre. Existing report calculations/stored procedures remain in use, but reports now share a more consistent interface and can be favourited, compared, exported and scheduled.
Reports Centre home
The Reports Centre includes:
- category navigation and improved search;
- My Reports favourites;
- recently used reports;
- popular reports;
- a prominent Rental Compliance Hub;
- remembered non-date filters where practical.
Use favourites for reports you return to often rather than hunting through the complete list each time.
Running a report
Open a report, choose the required filters and generate it as normal. The common report toolbar can provide:
- Change filters;
- PDF;
- CSV;
- Print;
- Schedule report;
- favourite/unfavourite.
Report tables have a more consistent layout, sticky headings and client-side sortable columns. Operational reports can link property/contact/appointment fields back to the relevant Standout record when the required IDs are available.
Summary information and charts
Reports can display KPI cards and, where the data genuinely benefits from it, charts and previous-period comparisons.
Richer insights are currently available for reports including:
- Completed Sales;
- Contact Sources;
- New Appraisals;
- Price Changes;
- Viewings.
For supported date-range reports Standout can compare the selected period with the equivalent previous period without changing the legacy report procedure.
Not every report has a chart. Compliance/list reports remain table-focused where a chart would add little value.
Schedule a report
Generate the report with the filters you want, then choose Schedule report.
A schedule can specify:
- schedule name;
- PDF or CSV attachment;
- one or more recipient email addresses;
- daily, weekly or monthly frequency;
- send time;
- weekly day or monthly day;
- a fixed or rolling date range where the report uses From/To dates.
Rolling date ranges
Available rolling ranges include:
- Previous day;
- Last 7 days;
- Last 30 days;
- Previous calendar week;
- Previous calendar month;
- Current month to date;
- Use the exact saved dates.
Use a rolling range for recurring management reports. For example, a monthly schedule using Previous calendar month automatically moves forward each month instead of repeatedly emailing the original fixed dates.
Manage scheduled reports
The Reports Centre shows the schedule frequency, next run, latest status and any recent error. You can:
- Run now;
- pause/enable;
- delete;
- review recent delivery history.
Scheduled reports use the same report engine as interactive reports and are sent using the agency's normal Standout email transport.
When are schedules sent?
Scheduled reports run through Standout's Laravel scheduler. If a schedule does not run at the expected time, first confirm the normal Standout scheduler is running and then review the schedule status/history in the Reports Centre.
Permissions and ownership
Favourites, recent-report preferences and schedules are stored against the current agency and staff member. Standout agency/staff identifiers are GUIDs; schedules should always show a real owner rather than a numeric placeholder.
If your installation briefly used the first 5 September 2026 Reports Centre database script, apply the later GUID ownership fix before creating schedules. Schedules whose owner had already been stored as 0 cannot be safely recovered and must be recreated.
Good practice
- Favourite the small set of reports you use regularly.
- Use CSV when you need to manipulate rows in a spreadsheet; use PDF when you need a presentable fixed report.
- Use rolling dates for scheduled daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Check the first delivery using Run now before relying on a recurring schedule.
- Keep recipient lists limited to people who genuinely need the report.
