Help on using Telephone wizard

This wizard is to assist you with a telephone conversation with a client or potential client and quickly adding them onto Standout or, quickly changing a property.

What does your client wish to do with their property?

This will show those contracts your branch provides:

  • For Sale - to sell either their current residence or another property they own
  • To Let - to let a property on their behalf

Are they in Standout already?

To avoid data duplicate, it is recommended that you perform a basic search to see if their information has already been entered. When searching, you can use their first name, surname, postcode, telephone, email address.

If they already exist, their main details will be shown and properties associated with the contact will be show. You can select to create a new property, otherwise, choose the property being discussed and you will then be able to either clone the property for sale or to let - based on this properties contract status.

Creating a new contact

If they don't existing then click the "New Contact" button to enter either details. You will be required to enter the following fields

  • Title
  • First name
  • Middle name
  • Surname
  • Telephone OR Mobile Number
  • Address
  • Email

Address of the property to sell/let

If the property being sold or let is the one your client currently resides in, then choose This address otherwise, choose Another address so that you can then select that address by searching for it by its postcode.

Minor alterations

If the address brought back does not display correctly, you can amend the details. YOU MUST enter the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms.

What type of property class is associated to this property?

Choose the residential class associated with this property - Residential / Commercial / Business. YOU MUST choose the property type and style.

Book valuation

Depending on your choices, you will then be able to create the contact (if a new contact) and the property. Once created without error, you will then be able to Book the Valuation appointment. Once booked, you will be re-directed to the property details.
